Welcome! I’m delighted that our paths are crossing here.

The events I hold, whether an evening practice, a gentle workshop or a restorative retreat, are all invitations to slow down, turn your eyes inward  and reconnect with the wisdom already living within you.

My hope is that when you step into one of my classes, you will feel at ease, supported, and free to move at a pace that feels right for you.

Hello, I’m Trish!

My journey into yoga began in 2005 when I was living in New York City. Curiosity led me to my very first class, and I vividly remember feeling quite embarrassed throughout it. I was incredibly inflexible and couldn’t get anywhere close to touching my toes. Most of the poses felt uncomfortable and unfamiliar, and I spent much of the class feeling awkward and out of place.

At the end of the class, we lay down for the final pose, what I now lovingly know as Shavasana and at the time I had never been so relieved for something to end. Lying there on the floor, I had already decided that yoga was definitely not for me.

But something unexpected happened. By the time Shavasana was over and I stepped out onto the street, I felt like I was walking on air. I honestly had never felt so good in my life. My mind felt clear, and my body felt light, as though it were floating effortlessly. That was the beginning of my journey with Yoga. From then I wandered into studios all across the city, exploring all the different styles of teaching. But what started as a simple interest quickly became something much deeper. Each class opened a door to new styles, thoughtful teachers, and a lightness I had never known before. yoga offered me something far more meaningful: a sense of grounding, spaciousness, and calm that shifted me from the inside out. I floated out of every class feeling subtly changed, in ways that slowly took root.

After eleven full and colorful years in NYC, I returned home to the west of Ireland. I soon discovered Ard Nahoo in County Sligo. Under the guidance of Noeleen Tyrell, an exceptional teacher with over two decades of experience. I completed my 200-hour teacher training. It was a true turning point. I’ve continued to study with Noeleen, along with many other great teachers over the years, deepening my understanding of alignment, philosophy, meditation, and restorative practices.

I now love teaching classes here in my hometown of Castlebar. When you step into my classes, you’re entering a space where you don’t need to be anything other than who you are in that moment. Expect slow, steady, nourishing movement that gently settles the nervous system. Expect breath practices that guide you back to your center, thoughtful cues that draw you inward, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you’re free to soften, listen, and reconnect.

My intention is always the same: to offer grounding, clarity, and nourishment and to help you feel the same lightness and ease that yoga always gives me when I step on to the mat.

Yoga continuously reminds me that healing isn’t loud — it’s quiet, steady, and deeply personal. My intention is to offer you the same quiet support that this practice has offered me.
